| Visit to the Tuscan Countryside Friday October 16-Saturday October 24, 2009 An example of a cooking trip to Tuscany that can be taylored to meet any budget or date. Your tour could meet in Bologna and then off to Poggio Alloro, a wonderful farm and country hotel just outside the medieval town of San Gimignano. You will spend 5 nights on the farm learning the basics of Tuscan cuisine and touring the local villages including Radda in Chianti, Greve in Chianti, Volterra, Siena, and Florence. From the countryside of Tuscany you will travel to Montecatini Alto for 3 nights in northern Tuscany, located above the famous spa city of Montecatini Terme.
